The movie “Shri Ganesha” which convinces the unique and simple importance of father in life, produced by Sanjay Manik Bhosle and Kanchan Sanjay Bhosle and directed by Milind Kawade in association with Out of the Box Film by MH12 Cine Media is releasing in various theaters of Maharashtra on 20th December 2024.
The film depicts the strained relationship between father Bhausaheb Patil (Shashank Shende) and his son Sadanand Patil aka Tikalya (Prathmesh Parab) and their subsequent transformation into love.
Tikalya is living in a children’s home because of her bad qualities. His father takes his own responsibility to meet his mother from the juvenile correctional facility, telling him the reason for his illness. After leaving there, they meet various people in their road trip and we get to experience the fun and emotional moments of the road trip in these movies.
In the beginning the father, (Shashank Shende), an honest and upright man, struggles to connect with Ticklya (Prathmesh Parab) who is known for his mischievous and dishonest ways. Their constant conflicts make it clear that they can’t stand each other.
The journey begins bitterly, full of arguments and awkward silences, as neither wants to be in the other’s company. Yet, as the miles pass, the trip turns into a series of humorous and heartwarming incidents.
Along the way, they encounter strange characters, face unexpected challenges, and are forced to rely on each other in such situations. Through these moments, father and son begin to see each other in a new light, gradually misunderstandings are resolved and walls of resentment are broken downOn the journey, they meet a food blogger (Megha Shinde) and their tumultuous journey turns into a comedy trip.
Later the two leave her at her home in Malvan. Her father Bhai Vengurlekar (Sanjay Narvekar) tells us about the story and gives a different lesson to his father. Sadanand aka Tiklya and Bhausaheb Patil have a unique chemistry in this movie.Both of them have played great roles.Produced by Sanjay Manik Bhosle and Kanchan Sanjay Bhosle, the film directed by Milind Kawade is a double blast of laughter and craziness. The story of the film is written by Milind Kawade and the screenplay is written by Sanjay Navgire. Dialogues are written by Sanjay Navgire. The song ‘Shri Ganesha… Hovu De Re Hovu De…’ and the special Tadka song “Madhubala” starring Prathamesh Parab and Shashank Shende in lead roles are presented by director Milind Kawade in a never seen before look. Prathamesh has very short hair in this for the first time. In contrast, Shashank has a clean shaven look. The pairing of Megha Shinde with Prathamesh is excellent. Along with all these, Sanjay Narvekar has eaten the price in his own special style. He has played the role of Bhai Vengurlekar well.
‘Shri Ganesha’ has been photographed by DOP Hazrat Sheikh Wali. Lyricists Jai Atre and Mandar Cholkar have composed the music for these songs and composer Varun Likhate has composed the melodious music. The background score is composed by Abhinaya Jagtap and the compilation is by Guru Patil. Art Direction is by Sumit Patil and Dance Direction is by Rahul Thombare. The film is executive produced by Deepak S Kudale (Patil) and co-directed by Vinod Shinde.
