The Jai Swaraj Party, which is making progress in the Indian political battleground with the aim of village swaraj, social justice and building an equal society, has gained momentum in Maharashtra on Sunday. Theoffice was inaugurated with lamp lights on the occasion of Guru Puja festival at Malad West Link Road, Malad West in the financial capital of the country, Mumbai. Jai Swaraj Party Maharashtra Committee President Anthony Baptista Fernandes led the party committee members and party fans gathered at the party office in a festive atmosphere and discussed the future activities. National Secretary RSJ Thomas announced a seven-member state committee immediately on the orders of Jai Swaraj Party chief Kasani Srinivasa Rao Gowda. The present committee has Anthony Fernandes as state president, MD Nasir Hussain as vice president, Sundar More as general secretary, Tarachand Roy as treasurer, Rushabh Thacker, Vinod Saroj and Anita Singh as state secretaries. In the meeting held on this occasion, Anthony Fernandes said that a broad state committee will be formed soon. He said that the Greater Mumbai Jai Swaraj Party Committee and 34 District Committees along with various party affiliates will be formed. Anthony revealed that they will contest in all the seats in the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra soon, and they have already started the process of selecting the candidates.
